OK, I've looked through all the technology posted, but still there are two nagging questions:
-> How do you delay a 6-cell spaceship an odd number of generations while keeping it along the same path?
-> Is there a way to construct arbitrary-period triggerable clocks that could serve as Wireworld-style RS flip-flops? A p10 clock has been made but I'm looking for p32 (not of the form 10 + 6n, which can be done by simply adding crosses along the clock's ends.)

Both questions you pose are very easily answered as I have messed around with this rule quite a lot in the past:

- Find a (7,1)c/8 ship in a Non-totalistic rule
- Finish a rule with ships with period >= f_e_0(n) (in progress)

Not that you were wasting time, of course; it's still original and impressive. Also, I think they're called photons, not gliders (assuming you mean the small p1 lightspeed ships).

This was a bug in LifeViewer that has been fixed and will be in the next released build. Test case is here. Thanks for reporting!
