bump! 2g>g+w reaction with a block catalyst:
Code: Select all

edit 1:
dirty synth of loaf-block p3:
Code: Select all
x = 10, y = 29, rule = B3-eq4ciqt5ky/S2-c3-k4yz5i8

also, if anyone wants to try, there was some position of the NW glider which made a dirty synthesis of a long snake, but I lost it. it'd be pretty interesting if found
edit 2:
single glider deletion of the glider/tship eater:
Code: Select all
x = 11, y = 28, rule = B3-eq4ciqt5ky/S2-c3-k4yz5i8

Edit 3:
Having fun with single glider deletion tech, here's a demo of everything so far:
Code: Select all
x = 55, y = 35, rule = B3-eq4ciqt5ky/S2-c3-k4yz5i8

It includes the deletion of a dual eater, turning of a tship, tship to glider, glider to tship, and tship to 2T+g, all connected up. Now to just do phase changes, parity, and delay stuff, plus finding reactions for all useful objects that yield either single gliders or single tships
edit 4:
so close to a stable loafship eater, fails by one cell:
Code: Select all
x = 9, y = 7, rule = B3-eq4ciqt5ky/S2-c3-k4yz5i8

new oscillator period! p24,using a tadpole and a hook on hook catalyst to move it:

it's a 2c/42d frontend reaction that uses 2 p42 glider streams. in a rule with mod 42 glider guns. maybe this is useful?
nvm, its p34 not p42. still, very interesting

there's a lot of interesting reactions of tadpole+g
contact me if ya want help in designing any sort of really weird uncommon types of rules that most people don't like/work with, I'd love to help.
