Here is a block catalysis where the block is supported by a tub.

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 10, rule = B3/S23

Huh, so TWIT can catalyze another way:

Code: Select all

x = 19, y = 17, rule = B3/S23

Pointing out an unusual tub catalysis in a known MWSS eater:

Code: Select all

x = 10, y = 10, rule = B3/S23

Here is a wing sequence catalysis.

Code: Select all

x = 12, y = 10, rule = B3/S23

This is an example of an unusual catalysis (which is why I bothered posting it in that thread (specifically because it seemed unlikely to be found independently (in any one conduit-searching attempt))).

Edit: Here is an unusual boat catalysis:

Code: Select all

x = 8, y = 10, rule = B3/S23

How unusual is this tub catalysis? I tried the line of four rock, and it somehow moves and does the non-rock version later. (The active region is two centuries with C2 symmetry in a 7×16 total bounding box, unmodified, but starting with the centuries wouldn't actually work because it would interact with the tub a few generations earlier.)

Code: Select all

x = 17, y = 25, rule = B3/S23

Ran into it while crashing centuries into things.

I was curious enough to check, but it doesn't have the clearance to work with https://www.conwaylife.com/wiki/Bistable_switch It gets destroyed by an earlier phase of the explosion.
