To-day we have good news, and we have bad news...

Post by otismo » April 28th, 2024, 8:17 am

The Good News is that the Depression is Half Over !

the bad news is we are not sure if it started ten years ago, twenty years ago, or fifty years ago...

That is called a "half-life" of a depression.

A particularly gruesome, and brutal, bear market ended in October 1974 - fifty years ago, ending "The Sizzling Sixties" (or Soaring Sixties).

It was like Chinese water torture, drip drip drip - with everyone saying "Where's the bottom? Where's the bottom?"

Next the very first Flash Crash - and the bear market ENDED on the very day of the crash itself : October 19, 1987.

After the great bull run of the second half of the 1990's, we had pukey markets starting in the year 2000 year 2000.

And the great melt-down 2008-2009. And then the Covid one in 2020. Is it over yet? Is it really different this time...

You won't make any money off it unless you take action. NOW.

If you like number puzzles you should take a close look at the stock market.

And you know how we do that, by now. But since this is one for the textbooks,

I will be happy to draw you a diagram. In short, I believe, that finally, the maths

and the numbers, be with us.

bye4now!
