Synchronises signals, may be useful for periodic circuitry in Codd. Some mechanism like this is almost certainly known.

I’d like an extended version of that rule which has extra states that fire photons when a Life cell passes through it (Without affecting the life cell) so that I can make a “true” x->photon without periodic circuitry
