Life illusions

1. Copy the pattern below
2. Paste into Golly (I'm using 2.8 )
3. Turn off gridlines, press play and hold F, look at the center.
4. It looks like a knightship! Probably. At least it looked like it for me.

It took me longer than I am willing to admit to figure out what was happening...
Sidenote: A Gosper Glider Gun in Golly on Hyperspeed mode alternates between a few different illusions: one where the whole stream of gliders is a big blur, a few where the gliders turn into random blobs, and one where the gliders look really slow.

Pressing and holding F doesn't seem to do anything on my computer. It centers the pattern once and that's it.

Pressing and holding F doesn't seem to do anything on my computer. It centers the pattern once and that's it.
It should be like the autofit feature...maybe an outdated version of golly?

Coe ship
Click the pattern in the infobox, then set the Ticks per Second to 60.
The spaceship seem to travel backwards.
There doesn't seem to be any other spaceship that travels like this.

sadly, lifeviewer has changed. It is now harder to do something like that.
