It's probably better to just run the above script from where it's already placed, Golly's /Scripts/Python/ folder. That way Golly will know where to find the glife module. Otherwise you tend to get mysterious errors unless you've already run a from glife.text import * command since restarting Golly.
... I should probably investigate how to work around that little glife reference problem -- anyone have any good suggestions?
