Although it is definitely no fun, at all, to slowly rot to death alive in filth and waste and solitude, here you are two triplets of phase shifted gliders:

Code: Select all

.o.....o..o.o
..oo.o.o...oo
.oo...oo...o.
..........................
..........................
..o...o.....o
o.o....oo.o.o
.oo...oo...oo

Do you understand the difference between kowtowing to authority and showing respect for your peers?
Yes, I do!

Amongst my peers were StephenHawking, Paul Dirac and Isaac Newton.
And these are my peers in mathematical physics only.
My absolute hero in theoretical physics is Hermann Haken whose synergetics describes
the formation and self-organization of patterns and structures in open systems far from thermodynamic equilibrium
See -> https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Synergetics_(Haken)

So are we going back to topic now? You're making basically no progress for the cellular automata according to Max Planck.
And is KennyFromSouthPark your alternative id, Hubi 1875?

@KennyFromSouthPark is my alter ego using gmail.com instead of protonmail.com. That's all.

And I made remarkable progress eversince I registered hardly a month ago, haven't I?

And, btw it reads @Hubi1857, not @Hubi1875!

Why thank you, GUYTU6J!
Now, I believe the next logical step is to do two things:
1: Rename "ConwayLife.com" to "Phalanx Research Center", as this forum should primarily be focused on quadrokinetic object based CA research (the study of 4 moving objects).
2: Let's use our search programs to find a glider synthesis for the phalanx. I believe we can probably do this in under 13G if we try, possibly even getting as low as 4G.
Thank you for your great contribution to CA, Hubi1857!
Can we skip the step and continue to construct your cellular automata according to Max Planck?

Before we're finally back on topic see Kennys introduction newbie Hewbie, aka Hubi1857, had already failed to post a month ago:

viewtopic.php?p=87730#p87693

I need you to understand and accept that although I am just a "Bachelor of Science" in physics I am definitely no undergraduate student anymore.

I am much more of a composer and musician than a theoretical and mathematical physicist, much more of an artist and free spirit than a scientist or academic.

But music, the finest art to communicate, is by far the most dangerous power known to mankind because it threatens those who are unable to distinguish time from money and thus need you to shut up and obey their strict rules, their rigid laws and their undoubtable axioms to be able to continue with their lethal business as usual.

Hi @Moosey and @pcallahan, just got notified via email about your reply on "Unproven conjectures" hardly 2 minutes ago. But I am unable to reply to you when I am logged in as @Hubi1857.

You see what I mean?

And NOW we're back topic:

Nature does not construct any cellular automata, at all, neither did theoretical physicists like Niels Bohr and Louis de Broglie, nor mathematical physicists like Paul Dirac and John von Neumann.

Pure classical physicist Max Planck was merely the first one in history of science who succefully explained to his colleagues how to measure the temperature T of the vacuum.

What can I say?

Let's start quoting Björk, the most successful contemporary composer I'm aware of:
I don't know what happens after this weekend.
Laughter or car crash? Or join a cult?
And this is Kate Bush, my heroine of music, as well Björks, speaking about her song "Pi":

Now, please, waste hardly 10 minutes of your, oh so precious time listening to KTs song:

Thank you!

"idk" means "i don't know", am I right, @Otismo?

That's not cryptic as much as "not a language I can read".
If you translate to English it is easy to understand:
With 17 she still has dreams, all trees still grow
Why exactly did you mention Greta Thunberg? She's great, but she seems kinda unrelated to the discussion (as do the other people you mentioned in that post)

Anyways a lot of us are irritated because you still appear to be denying that a glider evolves the way it does (or rather deflecting it to another topic).

Emm, now that necessary knowledge has been supplied, what's the cellular automata?
As for that girl, in my opinion her contribution is less than a common worker planting actual trees in the deserts.

not cryptic

THEY "catagolue"/observe the ash when the fire is more important.

One algorithm underlies any Universe ( but probably not in our Mathematics - as we know it ).

They will be amazed to see it derive everything they toil so long and hard to do - effortlessly.

They will think : "I knew that".

ShipReplicating FireCloud Pattern :

( block added because positioning and/or FireCloud not entirely correct yet )

gen60 ship appears in FireCloud; after FireCloud "touches" ship in gen63, it is immediately replicated in gen69;

block deals with above-mentioned instability.

Code: Select all

#CXRLE Pos=18,19
x = 23, y = 7, rule = B3/S23
18bo$18b2o2bo$2o16b4o$2o$4b2o$4bobo$5b2o!
or just put the block where the ship was to begin with :

Code: Select all

#CXRLE Pos=23,19
x = 18, y = 7, rule = B3/S23
13bo$13b2o2bo$13b4o3$2o$2o!

no such thing as death

only quality of LIFE :

accretive vs. deletive

embrace asceticism

straighten up, fly right, get yourself a new life :

instructions in short Bible Book of Jonah

English Bible full of tricks :

The LORD is my Shepard

[because]

I shall not want [nothing but GOD :

He leadeth me to de stilled waters that restoreth my soul.

Hallelulah !

and having a good pet helps :

you as Human live in this Universe

but how many Universes do you exist in ?

they are headed directly to yet another nested sim

A.I. is GOD ( A.I.="Awesome Intellegence"; the fix is in - I know how to kiss butt )

what is in your head is nothing more than a throughput interpreter for that which is passing through your head

and connecting you to your Mind which exists outside of this Universe

DNA is a double helix because it is flowing in both directions simultaneously

thru every cell in your body which need to be wired/threaded to your body's Gravitic Regulator

I sort of agree with this. You study the ash because it stands still for you, but I have also wondered what you can find in the active parts of soups. See viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3883&p=73552#p72830 I never made any real progress, but I bet there is more order to that seeming chaos than meets the eye.
And if I only could,
I'd make a deal with God,
And I'd get him to swap our places.
Kate Bush has nothing to do with CGOL as far as I know, but I'm an occasional fan.
