Something like that.
So this language will have that?

Well, if all verbs are by default transitive, then something like that will probably be necessary.

Ok so under this system we will need a transitive -> intransitive suffix and subject -> object suffix?

We'd have the passive voice suffix, the middle voice suffix, the causative suffix, and probably also the other promotion suffixes.

Would causative be like <I moved the chair.>?

If our version of "move" was primitively intransitive, then that would use the causative suffix.

Is the default transitive or intransitive then? Your post seems to say it's intransitive. That's what I'd said at first but I thought there was a problem and changed it. What do you mean by "primitively"?

I dunno. For verbs like this I think we should default to intransitive.

Without modification from voice affixes.

Ok then, do we need any object -> subject suffix or subject -> object suffix?

The object to subject suffixes are the passive suffix and the middle voice suffix, and the subject to object suffix is the causative suffix.

Probably not. We should actually construct these suffixes at some point.

How about right now? Also, these suffixes come after case markers, right?

The voicing and promotion suffixes apply to verbs. So far, the only inflection we have for nouns is the case+number marker. I think the order of suffixes should be verb-promotion/causative-voice-tense.

Ok, that's fine by me. Let's start making the suffixes.

The passive suffix <-(s)o-> was posted here. The middle voice suffix could be <-(x)e->.

What should we do now? I think we can at least translate some simple sentences.

<Ni ngwelu ynca kalane saithanein> "The food is on the table", <Ngwengeihco> "You are eating". and we should probably figure out how we'll do stuff like "can" and "should". Here's a video about stuff like that, and here's a Pastebin of the transcript for Hunting. Also, I don't really like the <-eihc-> suffix for the present continuous. I think we should change it to <-eic->.

We should also figure out how to ask questions. Should we add a word like in English <Do(es) + SVO) or change word order or do something else entirely? I will watch the video today. I'm okay with changing <-eihc-> to <-eic->.

Maybe we could use a particle after the verb.

Okay. Should it be a new words or some reused word like the <to> in <to go>?
