I don't think so.
Should we have other particles?

Maybe, if we can figure out what they would do.

What kind of meanings would they have? The Wikipedia page on particles has a whole part on Turkish particles. It says they have no meaning on their own, but to me it doesn't seem like that. Maybe we could use some meanings from those?

If you can think of anything, then go ahead. Also, there's a list of example sentences here which tests a lot of grammatical features. We should try to translate those.

I noticed that a lot of those sentences use adverbs. We should try and make them. We already have converb adverbs, but we also need a way to make them from adjectives.

Yes, though do we even have any adjectives yet?

Ok.
<kafma> <slow>
<lesni> <fast>
<bylk> <big>
<tysef> <small>
<zlinkamo> <gooeyly>
Is <gooeyly> even a word?
How did we not even think of adjectives until now?
Edit: I don't think <bylk> works, so if it doesn't then it is <bysk>.

If we're moving on to syntax and stuff, here's some things I think we should do:
  • Make the word for "good" the same as the word for "edible" (and maybe have more food metaphors while we're at it)
  • SOV word order
  • Split case marking across determiner and noun (like in German)
  • Use auxiliary verbs
  • Allow omission of subject pronouns by marking person and number on verbs
  • Sandhi with grammatical affixes
  • Affixes for deriving agent nouns and similar from verbs (eg English "-er", "-ee", but for more arguments like "receiver", "tool", "source", etc)

Fine then. I think we should have two different words for lose. One for "lost my keys" and the other for "lose a war". All English, Turkish, and French have a single word for both meanings, and I don't really know why.

I'm having trouble pronouncing this mainly because I cannot properly pronounce <h> (/ç/). Can you pronounce it? I'm trying to pronounce it by saying /j/ and then pronouncing something like /ʃ/.
Edit: Infinitive is -(m)ai so "to lose" is <hyxai>.

That kind of sounds different from /ç/. There's still an audible /j/ at the end too.

I can't reliably pronounce it - maybe a Goodlanguage native speaker can :))

Is that what we're calling it now? Also, do you have any ideas for vocabulary or really anything else?

Another way to do it is to start with /j/, close it until you hear fricative turbulence, then turn off voicing.

I've been calling it that for a while (or at least "the good language").
