Okay. We would need some diacritics then, however (Or not?).
The language's phonology is simple enough that we could also use alternate characters for stressed nuclei (eg í->e, ḿ->n or something like that), or just use uppercase letters.

Let's make our number system. I want it to be base - 5, minuscule as the phonetics of our language.
I think we should use base 6 since it's nicer in a bunch of ways. Look up "seximal" if you want to know more.

M? You think about it as a negative?I guess it should be a preffix or something. However,we should make this language based more on particles than affixes I think.
If it's a prefix then we might have ambiguity between words beginning with /m/ and other words with an <m-> prefix. And yeah, using mostly particles is probably a good idea.

Our nouns and verbs will likely be simple, but I want an element of complexity somewhere. What do you propose?
Maybe we could use particles and auxiliary verbs to make a detailed verb system.

There is a website called Fonstruct, you can make a custom script there, altrough it is not a priority now.
Since this language has so few syllables, we should probably use a syllabary for it. What do you think the symbols should look like?
I agree with the first and will think about the second.
Okay, m will be a particle.
I am not entirely certain how good are syllabary - making options in Fontstruct, but we may use letters to symbolize them instead. I think they should fairly similar to our alphabets but with less curves.
K (Or k if we decide to use uppercase and the lowercase system,or maybe still K?)will be positive (when that is needed) and yes,do you agree?
Please see my new board game!

Maybe we can say 1 (proposal:mi) ki as I and many (proposal:mkik or kmik) ki as we?
<mi> "one" and <kmik> "many" sound good.

Please tell me more about stress.
Stress is when you emphasize a particular syllable of a word, like in emphásize or partícular. If we use it in this language, then we can have words which only differ in the location of the stress (like English convíct/cónvict) so we can have shorter words.

A spreadsheet is needed now.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

We could also have <-i> "-ing" (eg <iki> "going") and <i> "be" (so < ki i iki> "I am going"). We could indicate future tense using <ik> as in <ki ik iki> "I am going to go". Also, where should <m> go in a sentence? English usually puts its negations next to the verb, but we don't have to do it like that.
Just making the spreadsheet closer.
I think that all particles before the word should be fused into one word.
What do you think?

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a syllabic stop like that. Maybe something like <ki ik ki i> "I go I am"?

That seems like it could cause conflicts with words in some situations.

Don't forget to make new words. Maybe <kim> "in/inside/into/at", <mkim> "out/outside/out of/from"? Also, <ikm> doesn't really make sense for referring to non-people, so maybe <im> "thing/it"? We could use these for stuff like <ki ik kim> "I go in", or a past tense like <mki i mkim ii kim ki> "you were here".

Would stress change our phonotactics in any way?

<miki> "belong", <mikii> "of (possessive)" <mikim> "mine/yours/'s/etc (based on following noun)", <kimk> "grow", <kimkm> "plant (noun)". For example, <kimkm mikii mki kimk> "your plant grows".

Also, I don't really like the rule for [ts] anymore. Should we remove it (and the [n] rule since that's no longer possible)? I still like the other allophony rules though.

Yes, let's remove these allophonies.
Mik - man
mik - boy
Kik - woman
kik - girl
mikkik - child
-kmi - adjective suffix
kMik - human being in general
Do we already have a plural marker? If not, please propose one.

You can't do stress contrasts on single-syllable words. Is <ḿik> a two-syllable word?

Oum,sorry for that kMik part, remove it.
I didn't knew that about stress. I thought of it in a more Klingon - like style for some reason.
This language should likely have many words that are used for multiple things. Agree?
I don't support the existence of articles.

Thanks.
We need a system for describing language - common words (democracy, computer, rebus) using only our 3 sounds. For an example I would transcribe democracy as kimikmiki. That one wasn't based on any consonant groups but just by feeling.
What do you think?

If your language doesn't have very many phonemes, then it's possible to write entire syllables with single characters (like in Chinese except not a nightmare to learn)
Well, Chinese people feel English is a nightmare to learn.
