No , no , this is is not more pollution , this is , at least in my opinion , a fairly meaningful thread .
You probably know that surpassing the speed of light is impossible in reality according to the currently known physical laws ( except only with some intervention from God ) , but so is also reaching the speed of light if an object which we move has mass .
Because of this , I have decided to set up a competition for spaceships in non - Larger - than - Life rules which travel at speeds as close to c as possible but not exactly c .
It is open and I do not see a reason to ever close it .
It is also clear to me that only non - Life spaceships count , as Life cannot have spaceships faster than c / 2 .
