Some pages seem to be hard to write well. To give a specific example, Cellular automaton currently has (I think) a somewhat reasonable lead (not perfect but it could be worse). OTOH sections after the lead seem to be several different subjects placed together on a single page, with some technicalities and generalizations. I think the article is in a bad shape and I do not know what would be a good shape for this article. Maybe it would be a good idea to start with something specific and easy to understand, and leave generalities to the end. Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on the history, rather than on formal technical definitions. Probably it would be better to not overload the article and put more specific/narrow topics to separate pages.

The bounding box changed from 3234 cells to 2604 cells between 2022-09-15 and 2022-09-25; it is possible to guess that the bounding box was 62 x 42; assuming the 2604-cell design did use the p166 R-pentomino hassler, it could be already possible to guess that it used SE5T12 (I did not find anything else in H-to-G-04Jul2022.rle that would fit).

Not acceptable as "object" is too broad and causes ambiguity when referring to the abbreviation SKOP. Why not just abbreviate "smallest known puffer" or "smallest known rake"?

Why create YAFLCA (yet another four-letter confusing abbreviation) when you can overload an existing abbreviation? I think the context can be used to resolve any ambiguity. There is a reason for existence of disambiguation pages.

Besides (now that you mentioned "the one who liked the above post"), I don't know whether it's acceptable to make posts telling other people what to do like this, but I think it's not exactly awesome.

I'm of the opinion that we should try to avoid new acronyms and initialism where possible. If they become too common I worry that they could be confusing to newcomers. If a commonly discussed pattern or concept has a somewhat long name, then I think it's reasonable to abbreviate it.
