Why does they have similar "location"?

@islptng: Are you the new account of GUYTU6J? or are you imitating him? or are you a relative/friend of him? or is it just a huge coincidence?

There are several things to keep in mind about this.

First, 'zz_QUADRATIC' and other zz_... strings refer to "guessed" object types, rather than to specific objects.
An apgcode such as 'xq4_153' does refer to a single object within a specific cellular automaton.
However, a string such as zz_LINEAR does not refer to a single object.

Second, on the Catagolue, comments on an object page like "/object/blahblahblah/rulestring" are attached to the string that appears in place of "blahblahblah", rather than to the entire suffix "blahblahblah/rulestring". As a consequence, if some object is not endemic, all comments will be collected in one place regardless of the rulestrings used by the commenters. As another consequence, if some apgcode refers to two different objects depending on the CA rules, the comments about those two objects will be put on a single page.

Since 'zz_QUADRATIC' refers to a "guessed" object type (and not a single object), and since comments for different rulestrings are put in one place, a consequence is that all comments about all zz_QUADRATIC's on the Catagolue will be put in the same comments section, regardless of the rulestring.

Here is an example (note the rulestring at the end of the URL, and check the comments on the linked page):
/object/zz_QUADRATIC/bs

When there is a dedicated forum thread about a specific ruleset, I think it is preferable to post (or crosspost) new discoveries or interesting results in the dedicated thread.
(A dedicated thread is meant to collect all available relevant information, whether or not previously posted elsewhere.)

I think it makes sense to post interesting parts of intermediate progress (intermediate results) in a more general thread (or in Sandbox), and post completed results in a more specific thread.

For example, I posted a p1078 glider gun in Pseudo Life (B357/S238), after posting several intermediate results / incomplete progress in that thread and in "Thread for your completed searches using any software" (the latter is more general).

In most of terminology-related discussions during the last year or so, (as far as I can tell from my own experience of being a side in those interactions, ) one of your visible assumptions is the assumption that LifeWiki should blindly follow the "existing common usage" on the ConwayLife.com forums.
In other words, you apparently believe that, just because some word or phrase is commonly used in forum posts, already somehow proves that the same word or phrase would be helpful when used the same way in LifeWiki. As far as I can tell, you do not see any major differences between discussing a topic on the forums and explaining the same topic in LifeWiki.

I disagree with that assumption. LifeWiki is very different from the forums. Just because some wording often occurs in conversations on some topic here on the ConwayLife.com forums, doesn't mean that the same wording should be used on the LifeWiki to explain the same topics. Frequently, wording taken from forum conversations becomes unhelpful, incorrect, misleading when copied to the LifeWiki.

LifeWiki is aimed at readers, including many (almost-)complete beginners. The primary aim of LifeWiki is to collect existing CA-related knowledge, and present that knowledge in a human-accessible, readable, encyclopedic form. (LifeWiki:About, LifeWiki:Style guide)

In contrast, the ConwayLife.com forums are aimed at Life/CA enthusiasts who are exploring, sharing and discussing various topics and ideas. Forum members often communicate with each other using some local jargon. Such local jargon is often counterintuitive and confusing to newcomers. Such local jargon can be highly context-dependent. Such local jargon can be specific to a narrow area within the overall Life/CA scope (while conflicting with the same words and phrases used in a different way in conversations about another narrow topic).

That means LifeWiki must be different from the forums in the wording of articles and in choosing the defined terminology. Terminology on the wiki needs to be intuitively understandable and self-explanatory; you are writing for people who do not yet know and understand the topic.

(1) "The notice" basically just asks to not delete the page. That doesn't in any way change the issue. The content is still out of LifeWiki's scope.

(2) "The notice" asking to not delete the page was added at 07:57 UTC, i.e. after my previous post in this thread.

Weird things happen. I'm currently soup searching b3s234c, and apgluxe printed the above to the console. Looked up the apgcode on Catagolue. It seems to be an occurrence of pufferfish (yl12_1_8_c7310da81295b6611e6e4e34a80a5523/b3s234c). Scrolled down to the comments section and looked through the Catagolue comments, then went and googled 'gibberfish' out of sheer curiosity, and hey presto, it happened to exist:
