Linguistics discussion thread

Post by Citation needed » August 4th, 2022, 12:48 am

My friend requested to open this thread. It's intended mainly for users who can not access the Linguistics thread on Discord.

ColorfulGalaxy seems to be studying French, probably because of the "French insult" by one of the Trump members. Sometimes he may pronounce a word that just "looks like French" in the French way, for example "Cthulhu".
The fact that the word for "colorful galaxy" in French is feminine probably made him feel embarrassed.
He himself has a post with French words, yet I originally thought it was just nonsense pixel patterns.

By the way, this thread is for linguistics, not literature.
