if survival is set to 0-7, then birth can be set to any permutation of the 8 possible conditions, resulting in the 256 wolfram rules we know and love.

we can also do generations! but that wont do anything unforunately.

if you ever wanted range 2 wolfram rules...

survival should be 0-31

and now, you can do any permutation of the 31 possible conditions, making the 2147483648 range 2 wolfram rules we dont know a lot about, but still love.
