There is a general rule that you don't add your own discoveries to the wiki (except under your user page, for example, User:TheOddball524/my_pattern). The best place to post your own discoveries and constructions is on the forums.

For example, you could post your pattern in Thread for your unsure discoveries for Conway's Game of Life patterns or Miscellaneous Discoveries in Other Cellular Automata for other CA patterns.

Edit: as confocaloid points out, the LifeWiki notability guidelines state

To prevent overenthusiastic edits and conflicts of interest, a commonly accepted rule is that the discoverer of a pattern, inventor of new terminology, writer of a program, etc., etc., should not be the one to document that pattern, term, or program on the LifeWiki.

As a rule of thumb, people shouldn't put their own discoveries on the wiki. See LW:NB for details. It's best to let other people determine whether the reaction or the pattern is new, whether it is notable, and where/how to add it if it is notable.

"Unsure discovery" patterns can and should be posted here on the forums.
