I tried combining my partial eaters, their partial eaters in a huge amount of ways and none of them worked because I only use my hand to edit eaters without programs.
Now how about 77P6H1V1 and lobster?

Arrgh. For anyone who might be searching for this pattern a few months from now --

the pattern that Gustone posted but completely failed to label is a large stamp collection of c/4 diagonal spaceship eaters using eater1 and block catalysts. Green eater1s mark locations where a glider can be extracted to make an X-to-G converter. Red catalysts appear to be optional.

They almost all seem to be workable eaters. I think there's only one exception, but haven't backed everything up to double-check:
