Unlisted Methuselah, Hexomino?

I made this Hexomino Methuselah pattern in Golly. It looks like a Thunderbird without a gap between the blinkers, and resolves to a similar arrangement. However, I don't see this pattern listed anywhere on the wiki, and so my question is this: is this Hexomino new, or does it have a name?

That's a predecessor to the pi heptomino.

Then why isn't the pi-heptomino not listed, and the predecessor listed as a real thing? If it is a parent, why isn't it important at all? Is there something I am not getting?

Because there are infinite number of predecessors of pi-heptomino or any other pattern. By the way, the hexamino you mentioned is strictly not a pi-heptomino predecessor, but it doesn't matter anyway, because it ends up in the same evolutionary sequence.

General rule of thumb: if you have a new methuselah and it's
1) under 8 cells, it's already known
2) under 1500 generations, we don't care

That said though, listing some sort of Common Precedessors tables on the wiki might be a good idea. I've got decent-sized collections for a few of them (R ∏ LoM tl hf) assembled, maybe I'll post those next time I'm editing around there.
