Made a methuselah?

Post by loverthehater » November 18th, 2013, 9:46 pm

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 7, rule = B3/S23
ob2o$bo2bo$ob2obo$obo2bo$b2obobo$2b2o2bo$4b2o!
I'm a little new here and I haven't done a lot of searching, but I made this and thought it lasted a little longer than some of the 'long-lasting' methuselahs on the wiki. Thoughts?

P.S. If this isn't original or I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Thanks.

It seems that it's original, nevertheless it is not notable as a methuselah because of the size and the lifespan compared to rabbits and their family.

P. S. It seems it makes sense to make up notability guidelines for methuselahs and put them into a sticky post in the forum.

When looking for Methuselah, always remember to delete any unnecessary blocks that do not affect the methuselah, and also look through the first few generations to see if there are any dips in the population count...like the second generation of your Meth. is actually smaller than the first (20)

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 7, rule = B3/S23
