The inner sparker just deletes a glider before it can cause issues. There might be a stable solution, but a 1-catalyst CatForce search didn't find one. The two halves interact only in gens 42-43, so a monomerization might be doable--that could also solve the glider problem in a more satisfactory way, maybe even creating a smaller p91 gun.
It seems like there's tons of C2 symmetric LoM hasslers.
