I think you mean a sequence of p60(2n+1) guns starting at p300.

There is actually a known 180-degree p30 reflector with the same lane and timing. This allows the series to start at p180:

Unfortunately, this still doesn't allow the p60 gun, as it is impossible to fit the necessary p5 or p6 sparker that close to the queen bees (according to JLS).

The rectifier/boojum reflector has the wrong lane separation (9 instead of 6), and is too slow (minimum repeat time of 106 instead of 60).

Yes. My notes tell me that A for Awesome reported ths cis version in a soup on 2016-03-19 from which chris_c developed a 16 glider synthesis on the same day (although I can't find either post). This trans version was an obvious derivative.

Thanks for noticing that; when I altered /hashsoup to work for hexagonal rules, it broke the 8x32, 4x64, 2x128 and 1x256 symmetries. I've now repaired that, and the soups produce what they claim:

I seem to recall that this oscillator and its relatives were originally found by Nicolay Beluchenko, although I can't confirm that at the moment.

Yes, this is the repeat time of the full reaction (and obliviously there is no gun at p11). The spark can reappear after 11 generation. Thus it would to have e.g. a p11 sparker and a p22 'blocklayer' to get a gun. I wanted to point out that it would not work to take a p10 sparker with a p20 'blocklayer' as the spark would be too close to the glider and destroy it.
