Here's HR(x)23P, a conduit I originally posted as a troll because the input and output were so close together.

Code: Select all

x = 12, y = 11, rule = B3/S23

[[ THEME Inverse X -1 Y 1 ZOOM 24 GPS 8 GRID ]]
[[ AUTOSTART T 0 PAUSE 1 T 23 PAUSE 1 LOOP 24 ]]
Edit: Q → C. Place in the ghost eater 1 to get a Q → P that isn't of much use since it goes back into the conduit's reaction envelope:

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 39, rule = LifeHistory

End of post.

Crossposting so that this doesn't get forgotten: A new BxFH20, based on a glider eater by mvr and with the interaction noticed by calcyman.

Edit: this might be a potential starting place for a spartan B->X, but regrettably, it won't work with the Pi->B:

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 36, rule = B3/S23
4bo$4b3o$7bo$6b2o4$2o$2o9$4b2o$5b2o$4b2o$4bo3$9b2o$9b2o8$21b2o$22bo$
19b3o$19bo!
I know that that might not be what you meant, but that southeast glider (BSE14T96) does not appear to be known, going by its (prior) absence in my version of the ECC and the (prior) lack of forum search results for it. I found a Spartan (counting the BTS as Spartan) way to extract it—except for a pesky block.

Code: Select all

x = 40, y = 51, rule = B3/S23
30bo$28b3o$27bo$27b2o2$24b2o$24bobo$25b2o6$2b2o$3bo$2bo$2b2o2b2o$5bob

2o$22bo$19b3o$19bo!
A jubjub reflector can solve that problem, but that comes at the expense of Spartanness and one of the glider outputs.

There are a lot of "X-to-something" conduits that could be documented. For the examples in the last two posts, it seems like there are threads listed in this thread's first post that would be a more appropriate collection point. E.g.,

4994: Thread for posting dirty conduits that recover but leave extra junk
I know these kinds of reminders are probably annoying, but please can we keep this thread for stable elementary conduits?

That implies
  • known input signals (that can be produced by some other known elementary conduit that can actually be connected to the new conduit),
  • known output signals (that can actually be consumed by some other known elementary conduit), and
  • no leftover junk that would prevent repeated uses.

Are there any R-G conduits which can be connected to RNE-19T84 and have a repeat time of 61 or below?

I'm not quite clear on the connection you want. RNE-19T84 is already an R-to-G, so where exactly do you want to connect another R-to-G to it?

Oops! I meant are there any R-G conduits which can be connected to HRx65R and have a repeat time of 61 or below?

I'm not sure whether there is an elementary example, but it is possible to make a composite R-to-G by chaining several elementary conduits.
An example was posted in another thread (HRx65R preceded by the speed tunnel and followed by RF28B + BRx46B + BSE1T1, if I read the track correctly):

there is a b-to-b follow up that also works, so converting back to H is not 100% mandatory:

I posted all of the R→Gs that I know of in an attachment to a recent post, clearly separated from the other conduits. Here are the ones with a repeat time of at most 61; I'll let you check which fit with HRx65R.

ArmStain brought that first transparent block reaction up; EV 2 contributed the output mechanism, but with a sacrificial block (which I managed to replace via barrister and CatForce)

H-to-R, bad clearance but maybe still useful:

The eater at the bottom suppresses a pi from forming; maybe something more useful could be made out of that.

A maybe-unstoppable spark from the R interacts with the final eater catalyst, only a few ticks after the R leaves the envelope of the reaction that generated it. Is there any way to suppress the R successfully, and then maybe work with the messy pi output?

(It's not a clean pi, more like a pi plus block, unless the R suppression can somehow dispose of the block as well -- but that looks awfully unlikely, due again to reaction-envelope difficulties.)

Two new H-to-B's: HFx68B and HR120B. The output of the first comes from the tiny pi-to-B (PR*9B), so it'll connect to anything that connects to. It's also block keeper, but the block is kind of surrounded by catalysts. The second has better output clearance: with the weld shown, it does connect to conduit 1, giving a HRx179H.
