There is also a B-to-H which uses the H natural glider on a hive bait to clear the block, with some honey farm spark of sorts, I cant find that pattern (looked for it but searching B-to-H does not work).

The latest version of the script is in
Freywa's post, right along with the most recent version of the ECC stamp collection.
While I'm wishing, I wish that the stamp collection script could be updated to print text for the "instant appearance" repeat time for each conduit in the collection. That isn't a perfect metric, but you certainly know that if the instant-appearance number is bigger than... whatever the required repeat time is for your circuitry... then you don't have to worry about testing that particular converter.

My internship for my computer science degree started four days ago (2 June 2020). And for some reason I came back to the forums… again. The conduit collection has been updated, and is available in the files attached to this post.
New conduits added are RBx63H, HRx109H, BF20Hc, HR49H (R49), PSE3T-5, BNW26T157 and GSE17T2.
The name "bandersnatch" for GSE17T2, the 0-degree CC reflector, is quite a mouthful and will fall out of favour. I have used the name
crank in the collection on account of the shape of the glider's path through the conduit. It also has the same number of letters as "Snark".

I don't think so. Only the discoverer can name it.

You can call it a "Bander" in circuitry, just like you call Boojum reflector "Boojum" rather than its full name (or "Quadri" instead of "Quadri-snark")

I also think whoever find the pattern gets to pick the name, the only one person what should be allowed to contest the name picked is Extrementhusiast, and as far as I can tell that's not the case.
That being said, I will probably personally might call it a "snatch" or "b-snatch" for my personal use/posts, and you are free to do the same (or use bander as suggested).

Changes since the earlier 6 June 2020 edition:
- Added HSW47T214, BFx177H, BNW-7T147
- Improved catalyst for HNE2T56
- The 0-degree CC reflector is now really called the bandersnatch. ("bandy" was my first thought when trying to abbreviate the name)
- Defined orientation for pi-to-G and QB-to-G conduits. Now their glider output always points either NW or SE, which changes N to S in the names of PNE8T63, PNE19T123, QNE6T144, QNE8T54 and QNE9T144
- Accounted for a missing glider in the name for PNE9T138 – now PNW6T138_NE9T138

Err...I see NSFW connotations with that shorthand if it doesn't have to do with weightlifting or hastily grabbing something.
Bander is OK in English, but has a similar problem if this website is translated into French.
BS has associations with cow poop, and adding an F before it (for
frumious) only adds more swearing into the mix. While I am fine with the full name
Bandersnatch, it looks like shortening the name is playing a dangerous game,
a variant of which we have played before. I'd say stick with the full name, but if we absolutely must shorten it, either
band or
snat (or both, being
bandsnat) could work.

The full name "Bandersnatch" seems totally fine to me -- I can perfectly happily use that without having to shorten it. I really like the literary reference and the connection to Snarks.
"Crank" doesn't seem relevant at all unless one of the discoverers says it is. If a discoverer wants to give official approval to some short form, like "Ban" or maybe "frum" (you know, because it frumiously shoves a glider frum one lane to another), then that's fine, but it's not necessary.
There's really not much point in worrying about short forms until people start referring to Bandersnatches regularly in the context of pattern-building discussions. Let's move on to doing that as soon as possible! -- there are a lot of pieces of circuitry that might be worth building or rebuilding with this new technology... and then if a short form is needed, something usable will probably show up.

mmm, I was trying to make a point that we should be allowed to use any name we want for our personal posts, as long as the contraction of the original name is sufficient to allow readers to know what we are referring to, but now I see that there is there might be one exception to that rule. Well, my lack of cul-ture in terms of vulgar slang is clearly lacking, I should study more.
Well, now let's bury that topic with a new one. As some might know, I did some contraption involving an compact universal regulator. That was possible by combining 2 things, a edgy still live factory and a edgy spark from any usual conduit. There is a dedicated thread for the former, but the latter is definitely hard to find. Defining what a "spark" is in a conduit is vague, and listing these is likely to be extensive and uninteresting; however, a specific subset of these might be interesting to highlight. Such "quick" sparks are:
1- on "ON" state exactly once during the whole pattern progression. Because of this, such a "quick" sparks cannot be more than 2 adjacent cells; however, a "quick" spark is allowed to label a single pixel even if it has 1 "ON" state (4 and + works too, but very unlikely)
2- Most be on the edge of the pattern, and have exclusive access to unoccupied cells where hypothetical still live can be added (but not mandatory for the conduit to function). "having exclusive access" means that the quick spark can interact with the hypothethecal still life, but no other cells in the pattern would.

The issue is that interaction with some spark should never be interacted with because might disable the proper recovery of the conduit (like the pond in the last example given). So the question is, should we mark these in our conduit collection, knowing that running any paste conduit for 1 gen automatically clears them. It is probably a bad idea, but I just wondered how many weird "logical interactions" could be uncovered, that would helpful in that search (though I guess a script is always better...)

My general sense is that those sparks get used rarely enough that it might be more confusing than helpful to keep then in the main collection. We could put together an associated collection, maybe, showing specific still lifes that can be placed to perform different "one-time" functions.

So far I haven't bothered to make anything like a formal collection of these things, just because they're so common. Given a circuit with an accessible edge, I can usually load it into Seeds of Destruction and wave small objects around near the edge, and a clean glider output usually shows up (which is usually what I want).
For re-usable circuitry where a "staged recovery" mechanism has to be added to put whatever-it-is back so the reaction can be repeated, the relatively rare clean single-object reactions are definitely worth collecting. In self-constructing ciruitry you can often get away with one-time circuits that are never re-used, in which case it's really pretty cheap to build an extra couple of still lifes. With Seeds of Destruction it's pretty easy to find bait still lifes that will do pretty much whatever you want:

It works okay -- the R is hiding in plain sight. Really the conduit produces an R descendant, not an actual R, similar to all the B-heptomino conduits that actually produce a B-heptaplet.
Add an RF28Bc to the g4_r_0 pattern and everything becomes a little clearer. The combination of red and white cells shows the location of the (theoretical) output R:
