Goldtiger997, BlinkerSpawn, me and a few others have found out that Catagolue's sample soups are a gold mine for developing or improving syntheses. I ended up making many edits to one post in the Synthesising Oscillators thread detailing examples of such syntheses.

I manage the 5S project, which collects all known spaceship speeds in Isotropic Non-totalistic rules. I also wrote EPE, a tool for searching in the INT rulespace.

Things to work on:
- Find (7,1)c/8 and 9c/10 ships in non-B0 INT.
- EPE improvements.

29 is no problem. Haven't turned up any larger sub-constellations that can be built all at once to knock the cost down below 28, but I haven't looked really hard at the beehive/loaf combinations yet.

I'm new to the synthesis game, but I thought I'd have a go at a random unsynthesised (in Shinjuku) 18-bit SL.

I first saw it as the result of a 4G collision:
