@Freywa I've submitted all objects/constellations (with a semiperimeter <= 40) with 3G syntheses that don't already have 3G syntheses in Shinjuku: https://gitlab.com/parclytaxel/Shinjuku ... equests/40

This should be helpful for Alex Greason's collision search, since it will have 14000 new small low-cost targets to bombard with gliders.
What do you do with ill crystallographers? Take them to the mono-clinic!

Now Ian asked about modifying transfer.py for things other than still lifes. You should be able to work on it.

15G for a 160-bit still life; as far as strict still lifes go, this is a lower glider-to-bit ratio than anything I've ever seen: (taken from the first C4_1 soup)

Sadly, this won't reduce the glider cost of that still life.

This one's even more useless: 9 gliders for Aries between two blocks = a waste of gliders.

True, it's just that I was inspired to create a 6G after looking at that since I had never really looked at the old 7G synthesis before and therefore didn't realize until now that it would be so easy to reduce.

That's a nice reaction -- cheap, fast, and clean. On the other hand, xs23_gbb8b96z123033 has so many C1 soups that quite possibly there's an even cheaper recipe waiting to be found.
