It's a fuze at an oblique angle. It makes gliders which could be used to make more blocks.
Would it be possible?

EDIT: Nevermind- it destroys the blocks.

There's a (13,1)c/31 reaction that could conceivably be made into a Caterpillar-based knightship. But it will be undoubtedly larger (by population count) than Gemini, albeit probably smaller in diameter.
What do you do with ill crystallographers? Take them to the mono-clinic!

I've always found Gemini's movement rather difficult to visualize. I know how it works, but it takes forever to see it happen. I'd love to work on a non-UCC based oblique spaceship, especially one with a period that small.
