Debris-Laying Herschel Conduit Wanted

I am looking for a stable Herschel conduit that "edgeshoots" a block (or a ship, as that works, too), but does not necessarily release another Herschel. (It could also "push" a block, with the same requirements.) I have found four glider-Herschel collisions that produce what I want:

Code: Select all

x = 5, y = 18, rule = LifeHistory
2.A$A.A$.2A13$.3C$2.C$2.3C!

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 18, rule = LifeHistory
2.A$A.A$.2A13$7.3C$8.C$8.3C!
(temporarily)

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 16, rule = LifeHistory
2.A$A.A$.2A11$7.3C$8.C$8.3C!
Especially this one:

Code: Select all

x = 21, y = 24, rule = B3/S23
obo$b2o$bo19$17b3o$18bo$18b3o!
It would be very helpful if it generated an R-loaf in the right orientation.

There are plenty of Herschel conduits that produce blocks beyond the edge of the pattern.

My favourite is Brice's converter, which leaves a huge gap between the output block and the remainder of the pattern.

Code: Select all

x = 34, y = 24, rule = LifeHistory

12B$3.A8.2A11B$3A9.2A12B$A12.B.10B$15.9B!
The next converter comes in two isomers:

Code: Select all

x = 42, y = 58, rule = LifeHistory
21.2A$12.2A6.B2AB$13.A7.3B$13.A.AB3.B.B$14.2AB2.6B$16.9B8.2A$7.2A7.

18.BA.A$2.2A23.A$3.A23.2A$3A$A!
And the simplest one, known since antiquity, is this:

I figure I need something like this:

Code: Select all

x = 17, y = 16, rule = LifeHistory
A$3A$3.A$2.2A$2.4B$3.4B5.2D$3.5B2.2B2DB$3.13B$3.13B$3.14B$3.13B$3.13B
$3.12B$4.11B$6.8B$9.3B!
Catalysts can be on the other (bottom) side, though, but somewhat far away from the right-hand side.

Just realized that a beehive edgeshooting conduit would also work, though the edgeshooting requirements would be far more stringent.

Got something close to what I wanted:

B.4B$29.B36.4B$67.3B$69.B2A$69.BA.A$72.A$72.2A!
Unfortunately, it does leave a little debris. (I stuck a 77 conduit on because the right-hand Herschel did not create the block fast enough.) Both areas of unneeded debris can be cleared with a single glider each, with the left one (the beehive) being able to be cleaned up by a Rectifier. (The right one can also be cleared by an LWSS.)

Want a toad? Here is (in my opinion, at least) a neat way to make one from a Herschel:

Code: Select all

x = 12, y = 19, rule = LifeHistory
3.B$.B3DB$.3D2B$.6B$.6B$9B$.8B$4B2C4B$4B2C4B$.8B$.9B$2.7B$2.9B$2.2B3C
5B$3.2BC6B$3.2B3C3B$3.6B$4.5B$6.B!
The same situation has come up time and time again: How do you edgeshoot a Herschel?
