This looks like it could have potential for making a twin bees conduit, which would, among other things, allow stable circuitry with a p46 toggle gun feature. (Has something like that already been made for p30?) Instead of trying to make that shape then add a dot spark to it, we should try to make a honey farm predecessor then modify it in some way. Herschelcentricity is actually very versatile and simple given predecessors of the Herschel often start in one direction before forming the Herschel, which proceeds in a 90degree wedge. Also, Herschels are common enough to show up everywhere. I've done that for some of them, particularly the ones that I've discovered later. I will admit that the Rsequence didn't always end up pointing in the outward direction, but I have a partial conduit that is very good at fixing that.

I think that simply connecting them to any other conduit that is already known to be connectable should be sufficient. If my conduit makes a Bheptomino, then the first conduit that I'll try sticking after it is BFx59H, but if my conduit intakes a century, then I'll try at least one ∏→C conduit before trying any other way to make the century. I have no objection to the existence of Herschel conduits, but I have an objection to treating conduits that do not start and end with a Herschel as somehow less valid. Furthermore, I believe that this culture of requiring "true" conduits to start and end with a Herschel has resulted in detrimental effects on patternmaking, such as the frustratingly long repeat time of Bx222 when the HF95P could instead be followed by a conduit that does not result in an output object going in the same direction that the input object came from.
I do not favor an Rcentric conduit system, or a bias towards any single object in conduitmaking, for that matter. While I did initially focus on conduits accepting R−B or R−H, this was because I believed that these were underinvestigated starting points, not because I was trying to bring about an Rcentric conduit system. I have since investigated other starting points that I believe are underinvestigated, such as the dove and the Iheptomino. Even when I first got into conduitmaking, I investigated other starting points, such as E−B, that I felt were underinvestigated. As further evidence that I am not antiHerschel, just antiinequality, I have posted several ways that I found to make a Herschel that did not develop in the standard manner from a Bsequence.

Hmm, well the problem now is that the Pi>C used here requires an extremely tight Pi input, which no conduits are able to provide currently. I'm not sure if it was included in the collection as a "maybe it will be usable someday" or if its inclusion was an error. A tightfitting Pi injector conduit would make a ton of discarded Pi conduits usable (possibly including this one, though its margins are extra tight) but unfortunately no such conduit has been found yet. I checked all the other century outputs in the collection and none of them seem to fit, even PL*328C, which fails because the way the conduit turns interferes with one of the eaters. I just saw that conduit in the elementary conduits collection, figured that it must be connectable if it was there, and realized that the output century has good clearance in the directions that I typically want clearance in for the output century. I looked at the image in the article, and none of the examples have loaves, which means that none of them are bumper reactions. However, the variety of sparks that the bumper accepts is wide enough that it seems possible that someone else has thought to try to use that oscillator in a bumper before.
Edit: Actually, the method isn't so obvious, so what you found is probably a new discovery. Good job.
Another edit: It turns out that the spark for a bumper can be delivered one generation earlier than the LifeWiki page says, but it creates a block that must be eaten.
