Impure TripleLife colors

Post by squareroot12621 » August 4th, 2022, 10:56 am

The TripleLife colors right now are: These colors haven't brushed their teeth.

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 2, rule = TripleLife
.ABC$DEFG! [[ ZOOM 64 ]]
[[ COLOR 0 0 0 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 1 0 159 254 ]]
[[ COLOR 2 0 223 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 3 0 223 132 ]]
[[ COLOR 4 254 0 64 ]]
[[ COLOR 5 254 0 254 ]]
[[ COLOR 6 254 223 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 7 223 223 223 ]]
However, the purest colors should be:

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 2, rule = TripleLife
.ABC$DEFG! [[ ZOOM 64 ]]
[[ COLOR 0 0 0 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 1 0 0 255 ]]
[[ COLOR 2 0 255 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 3 0 255 255 ]]
[[ COLOR 4 255 0 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 5 255 0 255 ]]
[[ COLOR 6 255 255 0 ]]
[[ COLOR 7 255 255 255 ]]
Should we change the default colors of TripleLife?
— END —

Code: Select all

x = 14, y = 14, rule = Life

I'm pretty sure the impure colors was because the pure colors appear to have different brightnesses, so e.g. green cells would be more visible from afar than blue cells.
