There's a 106G synth of a capped p856 gun currently on Catagolue. I've since submitted a 104G synth in several different forms (the following is a synthesis in which the p8 segments are created continuously, since that's what the site currently has for the 106G synth) but the site has rejected it each time - any reason why?
Mainly I'd suggest keeping a very clear idea of what you're trying to get across to Catagolue. You're not changing either of the last two stages -- those are in there already -- so there's no point in resubmitting those stages. You just want to get that initial stage improved from the
current 68G recipe for the same thing, down to 66G.
I could be wrong, but I would still suspect that Catagolue might be chopping up that initial stage incorrectly, maybe due to the almost seventy blank columns a little right of center. This wouldn't be a problem if you submitted that part of the synthesis in more separate stages.
You've already gotten a
23G two-galaxy stage accepted, but it has one too many gliders. So try fixing that --
Code: Select all
x = 128, y = 43, rule = B3/S23

-- and then work up gradually to the four-galaxy stage, and then add the blockers, either all at once or one at a time. That way if there's still a problem, at least you'll be able to narrow it down to something much more specific.
