Life plus diffusion

It's kind of fun to use activity in Life as the seed for a diffusion process:

Here's the same frame shown as Life:
Viewing it with diffusion doesn't change the dynamics of Life but it's kind of interesting. You could feed back from the diffusion into the Life layer, for example to reseed areas that are definitely dead (the dark blue).
