Game of life: real gaming

This is a thread which talks about realizing the CGoL into real games.
I know a lot of you have ideas about this, so my thread is a kind of conclusion and general discussion about them.
Here’s my idea:
name: LifeGame
rule: There can be an infinite amount of players, who start with a finite amount of cells and ‘territory’ (a terminology I used for places that a player can put their cells in).
At first, we make a list of players which determines the sequence of these players - that is, who makes a move first and then.
The player who makes a ‘move’ means that he/she/it(AI) draws some cells on his/her/its territory. Then his/her/its generation starts, and his/her/its cells runs one generation. If any cell is borning with that player’s cells, it will, whatever the cell formerly is, turn to that player’s cell type. If any of that player’s cells died, it will become the player’s territory.
This is my idea.
It allows players to play it using any rules(including generations, non-isorphic and LtL), and makes the rule of placing cells more percise and reasonable.
