Nice find. Is the ten-cell shape at generation 935 interacting with a dot spark, domino spark, or duoplet spark the most common source of natural twin bees?
I am tentatively considering myself back.

This could be the direct source.
This looks like it could have potential for making a twin bees conduit, which would, among other things, allow stable circuitry with a p46 toggle gun feature. (Has something like that already been made for p30?) Instead of trying to make that shape then add a dot spark to it, we should try to make a honey farm predecessor then modify it in some way. Edgeshooting a blinker for this purpose seems challenging at best, but this looks promising.

Also, another phrase is a couple of dot sparks behind a queen bee, and the phase is a couple of domino sparks behind the previous phase of the queen bee, so that avenue may also be worth investigating.

It pretty definitely counts as new if you can start with a Herschel somehow, and put a signal through your I-to-B and back to a Herschel again. With luck that will make an H-to-H conduit with a new never-before-seen systemic name -- F{nnn} or Lx{nnn} or whatever; that would make it clearly both new and potentially useful.

There is another demonstration for that conduit here, but it doesn't work with my particular conduit because the block would be too close to a fishhook.

I only followed the I→B conduit with Conduit 1 in order to demonstrate that the I→B that I found can be connected to other conduits. I did not intend to imply that I believe in a Herschel-centric conduit system.

R sequences have one major flaw: Rs leave the site quickly leaving behind that HF+TL thing, and suppressing it with any sort of clearance is hard.

I've done that for some of them, particularly the ones that I've discovered later. I will admit that the R-sequence didn't always end up pointing in the outward direction, but I have a partial conduit that is very good at fixing that.

I think that simply connecting them to any other conduit that is already known to be connectable should be sufficient. If my conduit makes a B-heptomino, then the first conduit that I'll try sticking after it is BFx59H, but if my conduit intakes a century, then I'll try at least one ∏→C conduit before trying any other way to make the century. I have no objection to the existence of Herschel conduits, but I have an objection to treating conduits that do not start and end with a Herschel as somehow less valid. Hmm, well the problem now is that the Pi->C used here requires an extremely tight Pi input, which no conduits are able to provide currently. I'm not sure if it was included in the collection as a "maybe it will be usable someday" or if its inclusion was an error. A tight-fitting Pi injector conduit would make a ton of discarded Pi conduits usable (possibly including this one, though its margins are extra tight) but unfortunately no such conduit has been found yet. I checked all the other century outputs in the collection and none of them seem to fit, even PL*328C, which fails because the way the conduit turns interferes with one of the eaters. Hopefully we'll have another edgy C output someday that's in the right orientation to work with this sequence.

... Of course, Jormungant already showed that there is a working H->C->I->G sequence using this converter, so it's just that the choices of I conduit that are currently compatible with it in a *complete* conduit are limited currently.

I just saw that conduit in the elementary conduits collection, figured that it must be connectable if it was there, and realized that the output century has good clearance in the directions that I typically want clearance in for the output century. However, like you said, there are definitely more options available; we just haven't found all of them yet.
Also, look at generation 21 of that ∏→C: It's that boat-making methuselah that I found some conduits accepting here.
