I looked through the Elementary Conduits collection, but I didn't notice it because I was specifically looking for the second type. Also, thank you for telling me what the yellow color means.

While looking through "Results of catalyst tests", I found a catalyst which can make an alternate form of NW26T157:

Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
Nice! I highly suspected that a smaller version would be possible. Of course, it's also compatible with the SE7T14 output.EvinZL wrote: ↑February 3rd, 2021, 3:45 pmWhile looking through "Results of catalyst tests", I found a catalyst which can make an alternate form of NW26T157:

Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
Seems good to keep the old version and add this as "NW26T157b", since NW26T157a is Spartan.MathAndCode wrote: ↑February 3rd, 2021, 5:29 pmNice! I highly suspected that a smaller version would be possible. Of course, it's also compatible with the SE7T14 output.

I modified the following this old h-to-g:
And got this ^^
not sure if one can limit that glider generating spark and still also the eater than manages the first hershell natural block...
addendum: too late, it is fixed:
EDIT by dvgrn: these chimerical frumious Bandersnatchian hybrids are SW-18T136 and a slightly smaller and slmake-Spartan version of the old composite SE16T36.

indeed, and also a repeat time of +- 83 which is quite impressive, and that repeat time can improved if 1 SW glider is suppressed.wwei47 wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 9:35 amFOUR GLIDERS??? Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the decent repeat time (which is indeed 83). It can also be overclocked at p81 while retaining all four glider outputs as well. The original slower block cleanup using an eater also left the NW31 lane transparent if I remember correctly, so I guess I shouldve shown both in my edit - maybe I'll do another edit to include both when I have the chance, if that would be useful. The new one is almost entirely better in terms of bounding box and envelope though.Jormungant wrote: ↑March 21st, 2021, 11:56 am[...it also has] a repeat time of +- 83 which is quite impressive, and that repeat time can improved if 1 SW glider is suppressed.
On a side note, I still find it funny how the block in the SE30 output version manages to perform its normal catalysis at just the right time to cleanly eat the NW17 glider with its thumb spark, which would normally just crash into the block and destroy it!

Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
EDIT: This is old, see next paragraph. Crossposting from the Elementary Conduits collection to help keep things up-to-date here, an H-to-3G (new outputs NE25T122 and NE53T81, both on transparent lanes) based on Kazyan's recent conduit partial:
EDIT: While looking through previous posts in this thread I realized that Kazyan actually already found this, and EvinZL had already found this simple version of it too. I didn't realize since I didn't get any results for there being NE25 or NE53 glider outputs when looking with the forum search.

I went ahead and added all the new H-to-Gs I could find in this thread and the other conduit threads. I'm not sure if I've assembled it "correctly" (e.g. inclusion of variants), and I've probably missed some indirect H-to-Gs.dvgrn wrote: ↑October 19th, 2019, 7:05 amDialing down the ambition a little, just cross-checking with Elementary Conduits and adding everything that has been found since 2016 to the stamp collection at the top of this thread, would be a great start -- would make it much easier to look up timing/lane combinations].

Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
More importantly, you've made it Spartan. (Well, you'll need the 2-eater version of the catalyst below instead of the eater+snake if you want slmake to be able to synthesise it in all orientations.)MathAndCode wrote: ↑October 13th, 2021, 12:17 amI reduced the population.Gustone wrote: ↑October 10th, 2021, 2:27 pmCode: Select all

Re: H-to-G and H-to-Gn converter collection
Sadly, though, this is all a rediscovery. HSW-2T21_SW-4T237 has been in the elementary conduits collection for years, with a slightly different position of the southernmost block:
