Good question. CGoL might be okay, the only hazard I can think of is stray gliders and rarely XWSSs attacking your body and switch engine puffers popping out of you. Highlife would probably be more dangerous with the replicator constantly pushing around. Seeds would kill you pretty instantly, while 3-4 life would cause a more painful death.

Another hazard would be the pointiness of each square cell. The corners could probably puncture real life biological cells and/or tissue.

There might a star or two, depending on whether this is the ash of a soup (and, if so, what the symmetry is) or a stamp collection.
I am tentatively considering myself back.

Yeah and I think it's because of our/their (Life Enthusiasts') increased boredom in CA (In the forums anyways).

Conclusion: don't try using ikpx2 to search for speeds in some certain INT rules with a small alien spaceship at that speed, because trivial flotillae separation suffers.

Sometimes, I worry about the rare objects formed in Catagolue soups that were destroyed before the soup finished settling.

Me too, except I also worry about the still lives and p2 oscillators which were never censused in G1 soups.
I might return someday. Don't count on it though.

But those are only the common still lives and p2 oscillators, right? I don't think that it's important that we have a list of every soup that has produced at least one loaf or even at least one pulsar.
I am tentatively considering myself back.
