There's only one glider in the way of dropping the repeat rate all the way down to p420. Luckily that glider seems hard to replace, but anyway if the recipe gets packed much tighter, a lot of extra support will be needed to insert some of the gliders into their salvos, and so the required shotguns would start getting disproportionately bigger. Which seems like a step in the wrong direction.
In any case, there's some unidentified item at the bottom of Occam's Oracular Shaving Kit that's very loudly shouting out, "Use period 480!" And I'm pretty sure it's not Occam's Electric Toothbrush this time. Never take advice from Occam's Electric Toothbrush. Last time I did that I ended up with the 31c/240 shield bug spaceship, and ... um... it turned out there were slightly smaller and more elegant solutions out there.
EDIT: In case it's useful, here are 88 actual gliders making a weekender. It may well turn out to be better to throw in a couple of LWSS factories in the middle of the south edge of the gun. Still, it's nice that there are still a few holes in the SE and SW salvos wide enough to slip a glider through:
