Well, I'm not the one who can give you (and anyone else) a trusted flag, but I know you can suggest LifeWiki edits and fixes here.

Thanks.
Forgot to mention that dvgrn (Dave Greene), which is one of the moderators and also the one that gives you a trusted flag, will give a "like" once your trusted flag is given.

Two registrations, two captchas and manual verification on top of it? Are you kidding?
I just wanted to fix broken link here:
https://conwaylife.com/wiki/LifeWiki:Ga ... tatus_page
"All higher periods are known":
http://www.conwaylife.com/patterns/osc-p43+.rle
->
http://www.conwaylife.com/patterns/oscp43plus.rle

You can either fix it yourself or give me permissions to do this.
I've set your account to trusted.

Sorry about the difficulty. We had a big problem with spam and intentional vandalism many years ago, so we implemented this to try to reduce maintenance work for the active editors. It has the undesirable side-effect of making things more difficult for newer or more casual editors.

Any of the LifeWiki moderators can give out the trusted flag. Dave usually just gets to it first.

I've created an account called "I am islptng". I want to add some pages in the LifeWiki.
I found myself strange. Any game that I have enjoyed, either exercises our brains(sudoku for example), or is Turing-complete.(yes, CGoL is that kind)

I want to add some pages in the LifeWiki.
I have given you the trusted flag.

However, please keep in mind that new pages should meet the LifeWiki notability guidelines. Especially note the following rule:
To prevent overenthusiastic edits and conflicts of interest, a commonly accepted rule is that the discoverer of a pattern, inventor of new terminology, writer of a program, etc., etc., should not be the one to document that pattern, term, or program on the LifeWiki.

Out of curiosity, what are you planning to do on the wiki? (Considering that this is your first post here. I would expect at least some contributions on the forums before one decides to try to improve the wiki, which is supposed to collect existing knowledge about Life/CA for current and future readers.)

Did you read LifeWiki's guidelines and policies (LifeWiki:About, LifeWiki:Style guide, LifeWiki:Notability)?

Done. However -- just in case it makes at least a minor change in people's future username-choosing behavior --

To keep easily confused people like me from getting confused, I'd like to strongly suggest that people choose LifeWiki usernames that match their forum user names, unless there's a really good reason not to.

Similarly, unless there's a good reason, when people are choosing forum usernames, it would also be really nice if there was some hope of typing a username correctly from memory once it's been seen a few times -- without having to copy/paste it from somewhere else, and/or count the number of characters in long repeating sections. Really long arbitrary names are significantly harder to work with, both for moderators and for other community members.

LifeWiki:Notability: "To prevent overenthusiastic edits and conflicts of interest, a commonly accepted rule is that the discoverer of a pattern, inventor of new terminology, writer of a program, etc., etc., should not be the one to document that pattern, term, or program on the LifeWiki."

TL,DR: you shouldn't add your discoveries on the wiki.

Please read LifeWiki:Notability and forum rules. Note that the latter says "Do not post multiple messages consecutively in the same topic" (rule 3a) and "... in most cases it's considered polite to let people make their own decisions about whether to invoke LifeViewer, by using predominantly "pattern" tags." (rule 5a), and your posts break those rules.

@LWSSONHWSSONLWSS, I'm a bit worried that if I check your trusted flag, you'll take that as permission to create an article for that puffer. Please don't do that. If we added a separate article for every puffer that we know how to create, we'd have millions of articles and would have a very hard time finding the interesting ones.

If you have more details about that particular puffer that makes you think that it's notable, please post that information somewhere like the Unsure Discoveries thread, and see what people say about whether it makes sense to put it on the LifeWiki.

I can still check your trusted flag, as soon as an acknowledgment shows up here that your plans have changed!
