Great work gmc_nxtman! It's a shame you didn't find this synthesis before I started and finished the glider-to-copperhead converter! I tried to optimise the repeat time by looking through the syntheses generated by chris_c's popseq script (which is how I assume you did it), but you had already found the best one. It's also good to know that a copperhead v-gun can be made if necessary - 200 seems like a good period.

It looks like it's maybe just three gliders at the top (or less?), and two pairs of synchronized gliders on each side toward the bottom. One glider in each pair would provide a domino spark to modify the other glider.

22 gliders was a bit much, but seven gliders isn't an impossible synchronization problem. I'd like to see how much bigger a 1G (i.e., triggered by one glider) copperhead seed constellation would have to be, compared to the Cordership seed and loafer seed.

I've given up the gun-building business -- but a V-shaped glider-to-copperhead converter certainly might happen at some point.
