I think your scoring is slightly incorrect, my own count by hand gives the winning patterns 18, 4 and 9 scores of 50, 34 and 32 respectively. But it doesn't matter very much since I agree with the ordering of the winners down to at least 10th place.

Ahh, yes -- I knew that the quote could only be half of the explanation, since some of the results exceeded and some undershot your independent calculation.

I won't attempt a full recount, but here's an effort make the results a little clearer. There's the detail of tie votes, where the order has not actually been determined by the count. And reporting the ordering only by pattern number seems like a deliberate attempt to make people jump back and forth between pages a lot.

I hope I haven't added any new errors, but this was all manual copy and paste, and pattern-number vs. number-of-votes can be confusing.

So I wouldn't put it past me to have confused things even worse.

I've taken the liberty of editing the two troublesome posts, removing the #s to make the quoted one non-countable, and adding #s to muzik's votes.
