Honey Farm Catalysts

For low-level circuitry breakthroughs, a honey farm explosion has a lot of potential, but it's hard to work with. This thread is for new HF catalysts anywhere in the search tree.

I'll repeat my thoughts on constructing these oscillators here.

The general idea is to place two honey farms near each other and place catalysts in a rotationally symmetric pattern. The hope is that the catalysts will cause the honey farm to reappear in the same location, as in this p25 oscillator:

There are different ways to find and place the necessary catalysts. For the pattern above, I initially found a honey farm catalyst with Bellman. I then tried different rotationally-symmetric honey farm placements and tried to place smaller catalysts by hand. I eventually found a sacrificial block that restored the honey farms, and I was able to replace the block using Bellman.

Dongook Lee (Scorbie) used a gencols mod that supports symmetry to find several other rotationally-symmetric honey farm hasslers (method described here).

Many years ago, Jason Summers used a program that added sparks to random agars to find many spark-assisted honey farm hasslers. Since then, sparks haven't been used much in the construction of these oscillators, so it might be a good idea to revisit.

What I am most hopeful for is a gun based on the following glider-releasing reaction:

Bellman found some, CatForce found others. The one consisting of two tubs and two blocks was Bellman, since four catalysts is generally too much work for CatForce, but a version of CatForce that allows for symmetrical still life placement would come in handy for finding more like it.

I've added the catalysts in replies to the list.

As for the AK-47 reaction, it's entirely possible that some other perturbation causes a different key period than 47.
