@Hubi1857, escalation of a pointless argument with silly profanity is definitely not welcome even in the Sandbox. I've deleted the reported post. Please don't create work for the moderators unnecessarily; spam cleanup is enough of a bother as it is.

The general pattern around here is that if you start nominating people for the W.C. Fields medal, you automatically receive one.

I said I would leave, but I would like to explain:
1) You may have started this thread, but you do not own this forum thread.
And
2) Good luck getting Nathaniel to do something about the fact that profanity was deleted on this forum, which I believe has a rule against profanity.

As you really hate me (I can tell because I read your profane post) for explaining that you have posted the wrong evolution (that is, phases) of the glider, I shall leave.

Au Revoir

Back to Max Planck, cellular automata and the phases of the moving p4 oscillator that is Conways glider.

Code: Select all

..o...o.....o..o.o
o.o....oo.o.o...oo
.oo...oo...oo...o.
This is my very first working pattern for Conways "Game of Life", a phalanx of four pentominos, one for each phase of the glider, which peacefully travel together in sync.

And as it's proud discoverer I have the legitimate claim to call it

No, Moosey, I do not hate you, I just do not know you.

Don't expect me to apologize for things which are definitely not my fault and we'll have no problem with each other in the future.

If it's a little solace for you here another famous quote of Lou Reed, ripped off the song "European Son" from the famous album "The Velvet Underground & Nico", the worst engineered Rock'n'Roll album of all times, produced by Andy Warhol some 50 years ago:

You're shaping up to be more annoying of a user than Entity Valkyrie. And that's not a good sign. Plus, threads are generally made to be posted in by everyone; Moosey is not at fault for discussing the thread's subject within its appropriate thread.
I don't know what happened to Entity Valkyrie but I have no problem with Entity Valkyrie 2. Plus, threads are usually created, designed or opened, name it as you like, by a single, ordinary user, as arrogant, annoying and irrelevant, as you please.
It is your fault to discuss my thread's subject within the completely unappropriate context of the Sandbox.
How is that my fault? This was in the Sandbox in the first place.

this is pretty revolutionary guys, can we get a 4G synthesis of this? requesting that dvgrn moves this to the CGOL topic for this amazing discovery alone

1. Spaceships are not strictly spaceships, but "moving oscillators". A p1 spaceship is now to be referred to as a "moving still life".

2. The "phalnax" (pattern described in the code block) is clearly the most important object to synthesize, not these silly still lives! I think we could get a 6G synthesis or if we even try, 5G synthesis.

Clearly with Hubi1857 on this forum, there is no point even doing CA research. I mean look at us, using terms from biology to describe things!

1.Posting about cellular automata won't solve any real world problem.
2. I work in real life, but I am unable to earn a living with my music because I'm yet another lunatic here am Zickenplatz im Graefekiez in Kreuzberg in Berlin/G€rmany on planet earth.
3. A phantastrophysicist is a scientist who works on phantastrophysics.

So this single, simple question remains from the topic of this very thread of the forum

What is phantastrophysics?

Well, phantastrophysics is a branch of theoretical physics which unites the cosmology of Jim Peebles with high energy particle physics as it is performed @CERN in Switzerland.

Sharpening the point of my very first thread for the Conway, Mandelbrot and Hilbert addicts who populate this forum until it's as sharp as a single point of the Cantor dust of the fractals called "Julia set" on the plane of complex numbers:

Astrophysicists tell you that nothing in nature comes closer to a single point in mathematics than a single star of the Andromeda galaxy as seen from planet earth with a telescope while theoretical physicists teach you that this honor belongs to the elementary particle commonly called "electron".

I am a phantastrophysicist, a skillful mathematical physicist, who works on the unification of the cosmology of Jim Peebles with the high energy particle physics as it's performed @CERN in Switzerland.

I hope that erases any of your concerns about my so called "insults" to members of this forum and helps @Moosey to see that he is not the most promising candidate anymore for the very first W.C.Fields medal in the history of mathematics.

@83bismuth38: Thanx for your most constructive contribution to this thread.
