Some Newly Discovered Still Lives

(Or at least, I think the're new.)

1. The "City"
A 2nd period ossilator.
A pre-traffic light that is surrounded by four houses (You can also make this with almost any other induction coils).

Code: Select all

x = 13, y = 13, rule = B3/S23
4b2ob2o$4bo3bo$5b3o2$2o3b3o3b2o$obobo3bobobo$2bobo3bobo$obobo3bobobo$
2o3b3o3b2o2$5b3o$4bo3bo$4b2ob2o!

2. The "Vine"

A still live.
A long string of "eater parts" capped with induction coils.

Code: Select all

x = 11, y = 14, rule = B3/S23
2o$obob2o$2bobo$obobo4b2o$2o3b2obobo$6bobo$2o4bobobo$obob2o3b2o$2bobo$
obobo4b2o$2o3b2obobo$6bobo$4bobobobo$4b2o3b2o!

Both of these still lives are extendable in many ways.

If they have not been discovered, they have been by Joshua Robbins , 2009.

This one is basically the same as Scrubber, just with different induction coils.

Related to "your" City:

Code: Select all

.....OO.OO.....
.....O...O.....
......OOO......
.......O.......
.......O.......
OO....OOO....OO
O.O..O...O..O.O
..OOOO...OOOO..
O.O..O...O..O.O
OO....OOO....OO
.......O.......
.......O.......
......OOO......
.....O...O.....
.....OO.OO.....
The traffic light predecessor here behaves like a four-way spark coil. You can even combine the two ideas:

Code: Select all

.....OO.OO.....
.....O...O.....
......OOO......
...............
OO....OOO...OO
O.O..O...O.O.O
..OOOO...O.O..
O.O..O...O.O.O
OO....OOO...OO
.......O......
.......O......
......OOO.....
.....O...O....
.....OO.OO....

A smaller version of the "City" is the "Town".

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 13, rule = B3/S23
b2ob2o$bo3bo$2b3o2$2b3o$bo3bo$bo3bo$2b3o2$2b3o$bo3bo$b2ob2o!

The Vine can be equipped with the ossilating part of the Town to make it a 2nd period ossilator.

"Towns" and "Cities" can be combined to form a very interesting agar:

Code: Select all

x = 23, y = 21, rule = B3/S23
b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o$o3bobo3bobo3bobo3bo$o3bobo3bobo3bobo3bo$b3o3b3o3b3o3b

o3bobo3bo$b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o2$b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o$o3bobo3bobo3bobo3bo$o3bobo
3bobo3bobo3bo$b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o2$b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o$o3bobo3bobo3bobo3bo$o3b
obo3bobo3bobo3bo$o3bobo3bobo3bobo3bo$b3o3b3o3b3o3b3o!
You can also add ponds:

Code: Select all

x = 21, y = 21, rule = B3/S23
b3o3b2o3b3o3b2o$o3bobo2bobo3bobo2bo$o3bobo2bobo3bobo2bo$o3bobo2bobo3bo
