Interestingly, I haven't been able to find a constant-output (opposite of the above) gun with a period lower than 16, and I'm starting to think that it's impossible. If it is, any guesses as to why?

Here's an almost-gun (outputs two p124 trails of four gliders, then dies). Can anyone stabilize it so it outputs regularly?
