135-degree LWSS-to-G is a converter discovered by whatislife on June 13, 2024.[1] It accepts an LWSS as input, and produces an output glider traveling at a 135-degree angle relative to the input direction.
It was found with Silk, in a search with a similar input file to the one (in a 10 × 10 bounding box with 12 active cells) with which it can find the Snark within two minutes.[2]
It has a repeat time of 40, though this can be overclocked to 38.
