An antstretcher is a wickstretcher or wavestretcher that stretches some form of an ants wick. The earliest example was a c/4 diagonal antstretcher found in 2006 by Nicolay Beluchenko after an extensive search. In 2011 Matthias Merzenich discovered a c/5 orthogonal anteater, enabling completion of an oblique antstretcher.
