Occurrence

Barge siamese loaf is the 134th most common still life on Adam P. Goucher's Catagolue, being less common than carrier with feather but more common than carrier siamese dock. Among all still lifes with 10 cells, it is the 16th most common, being less common than very long shillelagh but more common than cis-barge with tail.[1] In some other rules such as B38/S234c, it is much more common.

Glider synthesis

All strict still lifes with a population of 22 or fewer cells, all oscillators with 16 or fewer cells, and all spaceships with 31 or fewer cells are known to be glider-constructible. A glider synthesis of this object can be found in the infobox to the right.
