Beacon on long hook may refer to any of four similar period 2 oscillators composed of a beacon on a long hook. They are cis-beacon down on long hook, cis-beacon up on long hook (pictured to the right), trans-beacon down on long hook and trans-beacon up on long hook.

Commonness

They're are about the 35th, 31st, 40th and 50th most common naturally-occurring oscillators in Achim Flammenkamp's census, respectively.[1]
