Bi-pentadecathlon 1 is a period-15 oscillator, composed of two interacting pentadecathlons which symmetrically cancel each other's sparks.

Commonness

This oscillator first appeared naturally in March 2015,[1] and the reaction which produced it later led to a 7-glider synthesis of a bi-pentadecathlon.[2]

Glider synthesis

All strict still lifes with a population of 22 or fewer cells, all oscillators with 16 or fewer cells, and all spaceships with 31 or fewer cells are known to be glider-constructible. A glider synthesis of this object can be found in the infobox to the right.
