Bi-pentadecathlon 1 is a period-15 oscillator, composed of two interacting pentadecathlons which symmetrically cancel each other's sparks.

Commonness

This oscillator first appeared naturally in March 2015.[1] It is the second most common period-15 oscillator behind the pentadecathlon itself.

Glider synthesis

The reaction which produced this oscillator in the soup stated above later led to a 7-glider synthesis of a bi-pentadecathlon.[2]
